Driven by my goal to edit the wiki.kibabase.com 10 times each day, I was forced to devises new game development resource to satisfy the goal. Of course, the actual objective is to improve my wiki content.

I believe I done just that with my Advertisement Master List for Free Games.

It list all the free resources that I know of for promoting video games, at least of the free software kind. It is not just a list, but it is also an advisory on how to play nice with the sites you submit your games to and which sites is suitable for what games.

For example, you don’t submit your python games to a ruby site. Nor do you want to submit your incomplete game to a major review site that will only take a look at an early stage game and conclude that it sucks.

Some resource I have not tried to promote my games so tell me what it is like and I’ll edit the article to reflect more accurate information.

As for the future expansion of this list, more sites will be appreciated. Of course, more columns for different informations will be helpful to developers who needs to determine which site is suitable and what sites to hit first for maximum impact. One of my idea is to include information about how much traffic a given website will bring. I am sure that you have other ideas.
